Dawn brought west wind 15-25 mph.But as the day moved by the wind dropped to light and variable. This afternoon we had north east 10-15 , then east and at sunset south east at 5 mph. We should see a little north east wind in the am , 10-18 mph.

Well we had wind from every direction today. West wind going north and blowing 10-18 mph.By afternoon the wind went light south east and at sunset south west light.Look for west wind in the 15-20 mph range tomorropw morning and then dying out by mid day.

Another hot day ! Temps in the high 80's and wind.South west 15-25 all day untill about 3 o'clock when a bad squal line came through and put an end to the day. Wind shift to the north east at about 10 mph. Look for a little north esat wind tomorrow in the 10-20 mph range.

Well the high pressure remained inland of us all day.Which means no wind.Light and variable all day. This afternoon the high pressure has dropped more to the southwest of us. Hopefully it will make it offshore tonight and give us a little hope for tomorrow.

A plus day for windsurfing. 15-25 mph with higher gusts until late afternoon when the wind backed off to only 10 mph. We may see a wind switch tomorrow back to the south and Sunday may be the next sailable day.

Another windy but cool day of sailing!North north east wind blowing at 15-25 mph and gusty.Tomorrow the wind is forecasted to back off and you will only see 10-15 mph out of the same direction. This weekend the wind should shift back to our good old south west direction and the air temp should be much warmer.

North west winds greeted us this morning at sunrise. 10-15 mph that lasted till about 10 o'clock. Rest of the day was pretty lack luster. Light and variable winds as the high pressure took over. Forecast of north north east tomorrow 15-20 mph. We will keep our fingers crossed !!!

West winds at about 15-18 mph this morning before the front pushed through this afternoon.The wind direction has been clocking towards the north then north east and by tonight south east.Look for the wind to get back to south west tomorrow and will probably be in the 15-20 mph range in the afternoon.Friday looks good as the high pressure goes offshore and a front marches this way from the mid west.

Windy conditions this morning, west south west 12-25 mph and gusty.Around 10am the wind backed off to 10-18 mph. As the day went on the shift back to the south west took place and around 4pm the south west wind picked up to 20-25 mph with higher gusts.Look for more south west wind tomorrow , 20-25 mph,as a front creeps towards the Outer Banks.

Sunrise saw gale force south south east wind,35-40 gusting over 50.This afternoon the wind has shifted to the south and dropped to 25-30 mph. The rain has let up and the sun is trying to come out now. Great sailing thuis afternoon!Tomorrow the forecast is south west 15-25mph and 80 for the day time temp.Another fun day ahead!

The wind finally filled in this afternoon, 15-20 south south east.Tomorrow will be windy as TS Barry pays us a passing visit inland of the Outer Banks.Look for gusty 20-30 + tomorrow out of the south to south west. Just depends on the track of Barry. With a tropical storm or low pressure 100 miles + or - from Hatteras could make or break the forecast!

Light and variable winds most of the day.Late this afternoon the wind did switch and lock in on a south south west direction, 10-20mph.The next few days could be interesting for sailing. Well after a couple down days of no wind the strong high pressure to the north gave us great sailng. NNE wind 25-35 mph kicked in around 11:00 am and blew through sunset. The forecast for the rest of the week looks great , south west wind then shifting north later on in the week.
